Privacy notice

Who we are. This website is operated by QbitPOS. You can contact us about your data at sales@qbitpos.com or on 0208 050 5502.

What we collect

When you request a quote or send us a message, we collect the details you enter: your name, business name, email address, phone number, postcode, the products and services you're interested in, and anything you include in your message. We also record the date and time of your request, your IP address and browser type, to help us prevent spam and abuse.

How we use it

• To prepare and send you the quote you asked for, and to contact you about it.
• To answer your enquiry.
• To keep a record of our conversations with you.

We use your information because you've asked us to take steps before entering into a contract with you, and for our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We don't sell your information, and we won't add you to marketing lists without your permission.

Who can see it

Your request is stored securely in our website database and emailed to our sales team. It's accessible only to QbitPOS staff and the providers who host our website and email on our behalf.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and enquiries only for as long as we need them to deal with your request and maintain our business records, after which they are deleted.

Cookies and storage

This site uses a security cookie that protects our forms. Your quote basket is saved in your own browser's local storage so it isn't lost as you move between pages — it isn't shared with us until you send your request. Our fonts are provided by Google Fonts.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing sales@qbitpos.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
